FARM PRODUCE
A milk vending machine is in operation at Boltons Park Farm,
dispensing full and semi-skimmed options.
Our milk is pasteurised and skimmed on site, meaning we can
go from grass to glass in zero miles, with no transportation
emissions. This is sold from our newly converted, accessible
barn on the farm (our Farm Shop!). We even stock a range of
flavoured syrups for you to turn your milk into milkshake!
Alongside the milk, we have eggs available to purchase
from our hens (we have 115 on site), cordial made from
elderflowers growing on the farm and greeting cards
designed by a very talented member of our teaching staff.
Thank you to the alumni
We would like to say a huge “thank you” to our Alumni
for your kind donations to freecycle. This fantastic
initiative enables us to help rehome unwanted household
items, crockery, clothing, uniform and books (amongst
other things) to current students, who will make great
use of them.
Boiler suits, lab coats, wellington boots and
waterproofs in particular are in great demand.
This year alone, we have redistributed your superfluous
items to over 200 extremely grateful students,
through our freecycle scheme. So, your donations really
do make an enormous difference,
THANK YOU!!
CHARITABLE DONATIONS
We continue to collect and donate food items to our local
food banks in Potters Bar and Hatfield.
Through our freecycle scheme, we have also been able to
donate blankets, sheets and towels to a local kennels and
cattery, where they were gratefully received.
Staff and students donated many clothing items, toiletries and
toys for Herts Young Homeless and The Hatfield Women’s
refuge which were well received during the festive season.
