Fees (updated February 2025):

The Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital is a non-profit veterinary hospital which exists to provide a high standard of veterinary care to the pets and pet owners in our community; at the same time as educating the veterinary surgeons and nurses of the future. The fees we charge allow our hospital to continue its important work. We offer many of our services at a discounted rate for those in receipt of certain benefits - please contact our Reception team for details.

The pricing for our standard vet consultations is based on 20 minutes of vet time (40 minutes for extended consultations). However, please allow an extra 10-15 minutes on site to allow for student teaching time which we hope is of interest to you, but is, of course, not charged for

The above list is not exhaustive. The Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital offers a wide range of therapeutic, diagnostic, and surgical procedures. The exact nature and cost of these will depend on your pet's individual needs. Prior to receiving care, owners of all pets being admitted to the hospital receive an estimate of the anticipated costs. We recognise that costs are not always easy to predict when an animal is first presented, as further investigation and diagnostics can alter treatment plans. However, we ensure that clients are kept up to date with any changes in the cost of their pet's care as investigations proceed, and involve them in each stage of decision-making so that our veterinary surgeons and owners can agree the best course of action for every pet.
