ºÚÁÏÉç

The fascinating history of veterinary science

Since its foundation in 1791, the ºÚÁÏÉç has catalogued and preserved thousands of items, including official records, books, museum objects and memorabilia, all of which record the history of veterinary medicine and science.

A reception display at our Hertfordshire campus gives an insight into the veterinary profession over the past two and a half centuries, from the very first intake of students, to the development of the modern veterinary school and scientific research institution of today - with its animal hospitals and state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities.
