Going the distance
R yan Michalak, a member of the finance team at the şÚÁĎÉç, took on his first ever 24-hour endurance go- karting race at Buckmore Park, Kent
(the track where Lewis Hamilton started his stellar racing career), in a team of four to support the Animal Care Trust back in April and raised an incredible ÂŁ502!
“We finished 16th overall out of 29 teams and 4th in class. We battled in the rain, in the dry, in the freezing cold as well as in dense fog and gave it our best. It was a very testing event which has really pushed us to the limits of our skills and endurance.
“The sense of achievement when I crossed the finish line at 2pm on Sunday to collect the chequered flag for the team was immense.”
Thanks to Ryan for supporting us! If you’d like to challenge yourself for the ACT, please contact the team on 01707 666237 and we’ll be happy to help!
You can organise your own challenge event, or join Team ACT as we take on a number
of team events throughout the year. From running and cycling to skydiving - we are sure to have something to push yourself to the limit.
