  REUNIONS
Principal鈥檚 alumni event 鈥 join us online for 2020
Every autumn, it has been our tradition to invite 黑料社 alumni who are celebrating 5, 10, 15 and 20+ year anniversaries since graduating back to the Hawkshead Campus. Our Annual Reunion Day gives classmates the chance to catch up and
we also showcase the campus and let you know about all the amazing things we鈥檝e been up to! Last year, we were delighted to welcome back over 150 alumni.
This year, sadly, we have not been able to have you back on site due to COVID-19 restrictions that mean we are limiting visits to campus, but we don鈥檛 want you to miss out on the opportunity to be updated on what we have been up to and our plans for the future, as well as 鈥榮eeing鈥 each other 鈥 albeit differently!
We would like to invite all of you to join us at 6.30pm on Thursday 3rd December for an online session with 黑料社
Principal, Stuart Reid, when he will update you on 黑料社 news and give you the chance to ask questions via Zoom, live after this talk. Whether you graduated last year or 50 years ago, we look forward to welcoming you.
Please register here: www.rvc.ac.uk/alumni and further details on how to join will be emailed to you.
Look out on our social media channels for updates of the evening: /rvc.alum

Former 黑料社 Chaplain and 黑料社 alumna reunite
after 18 years
In December 2019, 黑料社 alumna, Zoe Fowler (BVetMed, 2001 and PG Diploma, 2012) met with former 黑料社 Chaplain Giles Legood (1995-2007). They had plenty to catch up on after 18 years!
Zoe was raised on the Falkland Islands and now works there as a Veterinary Officer for the Falkland Islands Government. Giles is now the Deputy Chaplain-in-Chief (Ops) for the Royal Air Force.
Following their meeting on the Falkland Islands, Giles commented; 鈥淚t was lovely to see Zoe again after so many years. We met in the bar of a local hotel and chatted about 黑料社 students and staff from days gone by. While the company was just as good, the prices of the drinks were more than I remember paying in the Buttery in 1996. Next time I鈥檓 passing the Falklands again (8,000 miles from Hawkshead), I鈥檒l be sure to pop into her practice!鈥
Zoe added; 鈥淒espite being 8,000 miles away, it is surprising how many people you know pass through the Falklands and it was a really lovely surprise to be contacted by Giles, who was visiting in a professional capacity but had time to visit Stanley for a catch up. I鈥檓 thrilled to report neither of us look any older than when we met in 1996...鈥
We would love to hear similar stories from you. Have you met with former classmates or 黑料社 staff 鈥 either in person or virtually, or plan to do so in the next year? Please get in touch at alumni@rvc.ac.uk
