SUPPORTING THE 黑料社
黑料社 Careers Service
Supporting students and alumni on their professional journey
Read this if you are a recent graduate!
黑料社 Careers Service supports students and recent graduates with all aspects of career planning, and in putting these plans into action.
If you graduated from the 黑料社 within the last two years, you can still access the Careers Service for one to one support from the professional Careers Consultants. It could be that you want to discuss making a decision about your next step, job hunting strategies and techniques or how to make an effective application. We also offer mock interviews with feedback, to help you prepare for the real thing. Whether you are interested in employment or further study we can support you. In addition, we have a dedicated applications adviser who can also give you feedback on your CV or application. You should have access to Learn 18 months after graduating, so in that time you can see our resources and book an appointment through the Careers Service area. Otherwise you can arrange an appointment by emailing development@rvc.ac.uk and
we鈥檒l pass your request to the relevant person. We are happy to offer support via face to face appointments, phone and email, as we know 黑料社 alumni end up geographically spread around.
Why not volunteer?
If you graduated more than two years ago, we would also like to hear from you. From time-to-time, we ask alumni to volunteer to be involved in careers events, for example our annual Biosciences Careers Conference (held in September each year). We know that alumni, at whatever stage of their career and wherever that career has taken them, can give valuable insights and advice to students.
If you would be interested in volunteering to share
your experiences at a careers event, then do please ensure your details are kept up to date via RVC4Life (www.rvc.ac.uk/alumni-login). You can also contact development@rvc.ac.uk if you are particularly interested in volunteering in this way.
