Erica graduated from Melbourne University in 2008 and spent one year in a general small animal practice before completing an internship at the Animal Referral Hospital in Sydney. She then worked at the University of Melbourne teaching hospital as a clincial tutor and went on to complete her residency in small animal emergency and critical care at the same institution, obtaining DipACVECC status in 2017.

Erica is part of the Emergency Referrals and Critical Care services and the transfusion medicine service. She is particularly interested in cardio-respiratory emergencies, trauma, transfusion medicine and critically ill patients with sepsis.
